A Typical Day

Your day could start with breakfast in our shoot lodge in front of a log fire. This gives time for your guests to arrive and make themselves comfortable before the fun begins.

Once all your guests have settled in we have a gun familiarisation session and a safety talk. All our coaches are either BASC or CPSA qualified coaches and they will be organising your guests and looking after all safety aspects as well as coaching. We then check your master eye, and give group gun mounting tuition.

Now to the woods! If you are having a 50-bird shoot you will have one to one individual tuition first on 10 birds, some fun heckling from your group, and the satisfaction of hitting a few clays.

Depending on the number of your guests you may then want to break for lunch. We normally provide a "Gamekeepers Buffet". We then go back to the woods for a fun 40-bird competition. We provide a variety of stands, from driven birds to crossing rabbits. You will have real satisfaction when you smash a clay target.

For those of you who have been before and want a change, or want a longer day’s entertainment, try combining Falconry with shooting. You can experience flying the birds to and from your wrist and watch a professional falconer fly them. Or how about the Segway Experience? Segway’s are a fun personal transport system. Show your skills off around our course. Alternatively, relax in a covered wagon, pulled by two magnificent Suffolk Punch Horses, taking you for a ride to the local pubs, maybe finishing at one of them for dinner.
